Why Solid Hardwood Flooring?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Solid hardwood flooring has been around for many years for good reason, it’s a great quality floor option and has been for centuries . At one time it was the most popular flooring option. While it has decreased in popularity slightly due to new options, solid hardwood flooring continues to be a very popular choice for contractors and homeowners to install. Solid hardwood flooring is the thickest option in the wood flooring industry and has proven to last centuries in homes. The best part about solid hardwood flooring is the option to resand it, change the color and change the sheen without having to rip the hardwood floors out of the home. This factor alone gives solid hardwood flooring a huge advantage over other flooring types. [/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Is your hardwood Flooring Stocked in town?” tab_id=”1463410758631-13de9355-87ee”][vc_column_text]Absolutely, we have 8,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and we are always filled the the brim. All our mills ship their wood between these values so the wood stays acclimated to the area the whole time. We do advise to acclimate for 2 weeks to stay safe or to moisture test on site to ensure there is not a 4%(strip) and 2%(plank) moisture difference subfloor to wood.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
