These edger discs are a traditional style that utilizes a bolt-on system for attachment to the edger machine. They are commonly used for hardwood floor sanding projects and are known for their durability and efficiency. To attach the disc, you simply un-bolt the disc, attach the paper, and re-thread the bolt to secure it in place. Some contractors even stack multiple sheets at a time and then remove them as needed, to save time and effort. These edger discs are a great choice for taking off old finishes or for making a floor flat with little to no visible scratches.

Yes, 3M produces a quality product that really stands up to the abuse. The biggest mistake some flooring contractors make is overusing the disc and heating it up, thus, sticking to the machine or velcro.
Yes, the backing is thick and appropriate for each application. The Regalite mix of grain is good for all phases of sanding. Please note that Regalite is not the best mineral for final sanding as the mineral is different in size because it is a mixture of minerals.
