ENGINEERED BASE LAYERS:
The base layers in the Naturale Elegance engineered flooring are made from eucalyptus veneers. This hardwood is known for its strength and stability, making it an ideal choice for flooring. Eucalyptus is also a very sustainable and eco-friendly option, as it is one of the fastest-growing trees on earth and is 2x harder than oak.
QUALITY OF MATERIALS:
Naturale Elegance uses cold press glue and veneers to adhere the layers of their flooring, providing a low VOC and cleaner air. This process meets or exceeds Carb II requirements for air quality, ensuring that the products are safe and environmentally friendly.
TYPE OF CUT:
The Naturale Elegance collection offers slice cut flooring, which is known for its stability and environmental friendliness. This cut offers more yield and less waste, making it a more sustainable option. It also provides solid performance and durability throughout the life of the floor.
ALUMINUM OXIDE FINISH:
The Naturale Elegance collection features an aluminum oxide finish, which is known for its strength and resistance to yellowing. This finish is one of the strongest on the market and is nearly impossible to wear off.
INSTALLATION:
The Naturale Elegance flooring can be installed using several methods, including nail down, full trowel glue, or floating. For the best results, the company recommends using a glue assist for full glue down installations. This helps to ensure that the flooring is firmly in place and reduces noise on hollow spots. The 5-8 inch boards in particular benefit from this glue assist, which can be applied in either horizontal lines or a wave pattern underneath each board. While full glue down installation provides the most stability and eliminates noise, it can make repairs and replacements more difficult.
